WENDY YEAKLEY

PRINCIPAL DESIGNER AND OWNER

Wendy leads many and oversees all projects for the firm which she started in 1996. From her many years of experience and education in Interior Design, she has developed ongoing relationships with clients and industry partners. She prides herself with creating interiors that are not only beautiful but also functional for clients’ individual needs. Wendy’s relentless work ethic and dedication to delivering excellence in design keep her busy, but she still finds time to help make a positive impact in her community. For several years she has served on the Lake Norman YMCA board of directors, and is often found supporting events for The American Cancer Society and other worthy causes. Wendy resides in the Lake Norman area of Charlotte and cherishes time spent with her friends and family, including her grandson and adult triplet children. She also enjoys lake activities, beach trips, and practicing Pilates.

BRITTANY RAINES

INTERIOR DESIGNER

Brittany first started her journey into design at the Art Institute of Charlotte. While working to complete her degree she took on an internship with Wendy at Homestyles. After graduating valedictorian she continued to grow her career on the Homestyles team. For over 18 years Brittany has worked alongside Wendy and on her own to create livable, timeless homes for her clients. By forming lasting bonds and friendships with each family member she is able to uniquely capture their needs and wishes. Outside of her day job Brittany enjoys spending time with her own family including a teenage daughter, Evey, who keeps her on her toes 24/7! She loves to volunteer at Evey’s school and in her extracurricular activities. Brittany enjoys gardening, dance, and pilates . A resident of the University area, Brittany takes on projects throughout the Charlotte region.

EMMA YEAKLEY

DESIGN ASSISTANT

Emma recently joined Homestyles as a Design Assistant and is working on completing her Interior Design Degree. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law with a concentration in Economics from the University of Richmond in 2022, while spending much of her time on the pool deck as a Diver on the Swim and Dive Team. After working in Wealth Management for two years post graduation, she recognized her passion for Design and is excited to fulfill this desire alongside Wendy, Brittany, and the team. Emma has dug roots in the South End area of Charlotte and spends her free time with friends near and far. She enjoys cycling, yoga, traveling, and volunteering with the Dilworth United Methodist Church.

REGINA SHEA

DESIGN ASSISTANT

Regina Shea has been with Homestyles Interior Design for past four years as Design Assistant/ Project Manager. She came to Homestyles Interior Design at beginning of pandemic with a 21-year background in marketing project management. Originally from Fredericksburg, VA, she has lived in Cornelius, NC for 12 years and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, Pepe, ISI Training workouts, going to live music/ concerts, plays/theater, hiking, travel, cooking, making art and spending time with friends and family.
